Tara - 1000 Offerings and Retreat

Bodhisattva Tara is well known for her compassion and the protection she offers from fear and obstacles. The Centre organises a 1000-offering puja every year, and a retreat (usually during Easter) for members to practice the Tara sadhana.

Medicine Buddha 1000 Offerings Ceremony

AIBLP’s annual Medicine Buddha Thousand Offering ceremony is dedicated to general peace and happiness in the world, the welfare of all sentient beings and the continued long life of all Dharma Holders.

The Centre’s resident Chant master and Sangha will lead the ceremony with offerings of water for mouth and feet, flowers, incense, butter laps, scented water, food and music.

White Zhambala Fortune Blessing

White Zhambala is the Tibetan deity of wealth and fortune, and increases the capability of Dharma practitioners to attain enlightenment. Attendees are welcome to bring their treasure vases for blessing at the ceremony.

Light A Lamp

AIBLP raises funds for Seramey Buddhist University in South India through its annual Light A Lamp fundraiser. Seramey was one of the three biggest monasteries in Tibet and was set up as a Centre for Learning and Excellence in Buddhist philosophy. By lighting a lamp, donors can contribute towards the flourishing of the Dharma and support the monks at Sera Monastery.
